The old “gun goes off after a tackle box is knocked off a shelf while you’re going for scissors as your dad sleeps” story. Very likely. LOL

If you are looking for a program where you can slide by, the LSUS MBA Program is not the program for you. While LSUS is probably not the most intensive program in the world, it requires significant time, focus, and commitment.

Specifically regarding tests, almost every test or quiz I have taken has been through Proctor U and is monitored in real time via webcam. I have used Proctor U for over 50 exams/quizzes at this point (80% complete with MBA) and have not had any significant issues with Proctor U. It's fairly easy to use. Almost all exams will require you to study. Some exams are difficult, others are seemingly easy.

If you think you can log in on the computer once a week for 10 months and walk away with an MBA for $13k, you're mistaken.

Hello everyone! I’m considering enrolling into LSUS for my online MBA in Project management.

Can someone please explain to me how the exams were? Were they all proctored and difficult to pass? Just concerned about the exams more than anything tbh

Thanks!

I recently finished MADM 760 with Wyatt. This class is fairly straight forward. Each week there are assigned chapters of reading. You need to post answers to two discussion questions (min 200 words each) and respond to two classmates on each of the two questions (min 100 words each). In essence, you are responsible for a minimum of 800 words a week in discussion questions and responses. There are quizzes at the end of each module of 50 points each that are formatted True/False and Multiple choice.

The discussion questions and responses appear to be graded at 100% if you meet the word count.

If you read the text and powerpoints for each of the chapters, you should do relatively well on tests.

There were also some extra credit quizzes as well that were pretty easy if you read and understood the material.

I received an A. I could have easily paired this class if necessary.

I just finished MADM 701 with Michael McDaniel. I couldn't find any reviews on McDaniel - I think he's relatively new to LSUS.

He's a nice guy. Every week he posts videos running over the course material. It's him on camera with powerpoint slides. He breaks down complex ideas in to simple "real world" terms, inserts relevant experience, and just generally makes the text a little more interesting to read.

I did not like the text book. Some text books that LSUS classes have are pretty interesting, but this one wasn't great in my opinion.

There are discussion questions that require two replies (min word counts are 300/100 respectively if I recall) and a few assignments. The material isn't difficult, but there is a lot of it.

I paired this class with MKT701 Khan and really struggled to keep up with both. I have 3 kids, wife, and a full time job that has me clocking 55-60 hrs a week. Throwing both classes on top of my schedule was difficult. I ended up with an 88.9% in MADM701 and 84% in MKT701. If I had taken 1 at a time I would have scored about 90% in both.

60% of MBA complete. I'm taking my last 4 classes one at a time and should graduate right before July.

One class at a time shouldn't be difficult. I'm easily 60+ hours a week at work, have three kids (8, 6 and 1.5) and make it work. Some classes require more time than others. This isn't the kind of program where you can come in with work experience and expect to fake your way through every class.

You're not going to have a lot of extra time for Netflix and hanging out.
