I’m sorry you feel so intimidated by another university. Florida, Texas, Oregan, Ohio, Indiana, etc. the list goes on for States with two major universities. BTW, with the name change, Louisiana dropped it’s double directional status. And yes, Louisiana by student body, is the second largest university in the state. As for athletics, yes Louisiana has a long way to go if they ever want to be on the same competitive level as LSU. Meanwhile, chill out!! No reason to have a stroke!!! Go Louisiana!!!!!!!!
How can a state like Louisiana "Feel Good" about being last in all the good categories and first in all the worst?
The economy is booming, except in Louisiana. Unemployment is the lowest in decades, except in Louisiana. More jobs available now than in decades, except Louisiana. Perhaps Democrats "Feel Good" about driving Louisiana deeper into the quagmire of SUCK!!!!!!!
The people in Bossier City might take exception to your statement. Fortunately, you have little say (other than you comments) on the lights in Bossier City.
In a Republican Majority State- House & Senate, the Democrat Governor has the authority of a Line-Item Veto. I don't believe either Chamber currently has the ability to override those vetoes. Just sayin'
