Online dating massively skews towards women, news at 11.
If you want good dates, be a high value person and actually meet people out in real life doing your hobby, and ask for actual dates.
Ironically I've actually had some success on Hinge. A lot more than I ever had on trash POF. I already have a date set up for Wednesday and then possibly next weekend. Since I was talking to multiple women it made my decision to dump this one pretty easy.

That entire last message you sent is my reason. It was very awkward
Normally I would just block but I thought her tone was incredibly rude. So I wanted her to give her some of that rudeness back, see how she likes it. Hopefully she'll use the experience to change her attitude.

What a bizarre response. She's probably telling her friends she's happy that she dodged a bullet with you.
Well I feel the same way so I guess it worked out, lol. I definitely feel like I dodged a bullet with her.
I don't hate her for it, it's just obvious there's no compatibility there. But it is one of the frustrating things about modern dating.

Both of you are crazy, probably would have worked out
Would you care to explain your reasoning behind this?

And here's the thing, I understand that 12 hours is a long time and I was willing to apologize for taking so long. I'm not usually crazy busy on Saturdays but this Saturday was an exception and the day got away from me. But the fact that she seemed to not understand that showed a lack of empathy to me. That's the type of thing that psychopaths are known to have.

Someone who wants you to immediately reply and start a long series of text conversations does not actually want to meet you. They just want attention from you.
You have to discern who is serious about dating and who is not. You are correct in delaying your responses and keeping conversations short. The conversations that you do have should be driven toward an initial meeting. That’s when you deliver conversation-wise.
Agreed. I try to keep the messages short and usually 4 or 5 messages and then see if she wants to meet up. Like you said too many women on these dating apps just seem to want attention.

Her was my final message to her:
I am now going to block you. Who are you again? I don't have to justify my life or my schedule to you. Actually just so you know I don't take my phone with me when I'm working out and sometimes I'll even leave it at home. I don't believe in being constantly attached to my phone.
Multitasking has proven to actually be less productive. I might not always respond immediately but whatever I am doing or whoever I am speaking with will always get my undivided attention and I will not apologize for that. People like you who always try to multitask is why we have wrecks on our roads every day and why the world has become such a cold place.
I am ending this because it's obvious you are controlling. You are coming off as the type who would want to know where her SO is at all times. Just an observation on my end. In the future try to be more considerate and understand that for most people dating is just a part of their life and not even a crazy important part of their life at that. Good luck.

Oh no I have moved on. I immediately ended the conversation and told her what I thought of her tone. Even just by that basic conversation she comes off as controlling. I feel sorry for whoever she convinces to be her next BF as I could see her being the type that would want to know where you are and what you are doing every minute of the day. Is that the sense you all get as well?
The Sad State of Affairs for Dating

So I got back into the dating market about a year ago. Tried POF, complete trash there. Dumped it and have been trying Hinge with some moderate success. I started having a conversation with a woman 2 days ago:
Me: Hi ", I'm ", how are you? How's your week going?
Woman: Hey how it's going? Very slow honestly. How is your week?
Me: Hey! So sorry about that, it was actually a busy day for me. Worked in the morning, ran a few errands and then met up with some friends in the evening. Any plans for your weekend?
Woman: I work every day until Tuesday, enjoy sleeping in though. I'll be at work in about an hour.
At this point it gets interesting because I was crazy busy yesterday and didn't respond for several hours. She replies back:
Woman: You're quite the conversationalist, lol.
I reply back this morning:
Me: I'm sorry again, I'm not usually this busy. Worked out yesterday morning and then spent several hours helping my niece with a school project. I'm sorry you have to work over the weekend, are you normally off during the week?
Me: I see you work at "". What kind of word do you do?
Woman: Lol I'm sorry you call going to the gym and helping with homework busy?
To shorten this story I reply back with 2 messages and she responds with this:
Women: So you were busy for about 6 and a half hours lol that's only part of the day. I'm sure you had your phone with at most times in between all that and because it's 2019 and everyone does. It's easy to respond back to people, just an observation.
She sends another message but at this point I block her and send a nice little message back to counter this little message she sent me.
I mean was I wrong because I took about 12 hours to respond? Seems like she has no respect for the fact that people have a life and it seems she was mad that I didn't just drop everything to respond back immediately. Just an observation on what dating has become. :banghead:

Honestly I would be completely okay if we put all of our backups in the first play and just had them intimidate and beat the sh*t out of the Rams offense. No pretense of going after the ball, just pure revenge. Not stop until the entire 11 of that first play are kicked out of the game, who cares, just get some payback.
I'm talking about going full out like in The Replacements.

If you have a vehicle go up to the Boeing museum, that was fascinating to see when I was up there 8 years ago. The Olympic Peninsula is also amazing and you could take a ferry from Port Angeles up to Victoria, Canada which is a beautiful town.
