The SEC doesn't need relegation. The NFL doesn't need relegation. No other nation couid ever field a national team of grown arse men that would ever compete with an SEC championship team.
We're never going to be on Europe's level in soccer. But again, it has nothing to do with a "loser mentality" in American sports that this foreigner journeyman coach claimed on his way to another job.
I have to assume it's a bunch of bitter soccer fans in this thread that are defending the coach's baseless accusation. If he would have limited it to "US soccer" he might have a point. But instead, he called out the competitiveness of every American who plays, or has ever played, sports in this country.

It's also easy to see how full of shite these players are with the fake injuries. In American football if you see a player laying on the ground holding his knee you're almost certain he's done for the year.
