re: Cuomo frantically working behind the scenes to woo back Amazon
Posted by denn33 on 3/1/19 at 10:06 am to Carl Kolchak
I am anything but a Cuomo fan, but he should be doing everything humanly possible to get that Amazon deal back. It was a very popular deal among NY voters and for what it would bring to the state and area that the proposed location would be. If Cuomo is just posturing to look like he was against what that bat crap crazy socialist did to undermine the Amazon deal, then the state and the city got what they deserved but I am inclined (against better judgment when it comes to NYC dems) to think that even a Cuomo isn't dumb enough to try and sabotage a deal as lucrative for NY as this deal was.
So I figured after just reading for a few months I would hop in and comment about my home state as my forst post. Connecticut made progress this past governors election towards not going as far left as our neighboring states. Granted a liberal was still able to win (Ned Lamont, who while is a liberal is not as lock and step with national democrats as his predecessor Malloy was,) it was a lot closer than was anticipated. It will be difficult to unseat the senators from this state as 3 cities basically determine the winner and places like New Haven, Bridgeport and Hartford are not exactly conservative hot beds. Local elections are a great first step towards getting morons like Da Nang out of office once and for all.
