PresJohnTyler, I agree with you. This is not the kind of subject that you can easily apply what is written in the text to a similar question with different variables. And like most classes in this program, there is not really any teaching happening. The instructor gives some readings, and in this case, the reading material has very little explanation of the use of the code. Most of the classes I took did not include live zoom sessions, they were recorded from a while ago. That makes this class difficult because I don't have much experience coding.

I am also taking this class. He is not teaching anything. On the last test, there was a term not used in any of the reading. I am not doing well either, I am hoping to just get by in this class, but it is going to kill my GPA. I will be commenting on the class review after this is over. I did notice that the material he has is just copied from other material that has more information. Copy and couple of sentences and search for them on google. You will find some other college has PDFs you can download that do give a little more info. may be helpful.
@WDE251 yes the averages were sent out. Almost have the class scored lower than 50%. The professor said he would make some changes to the testing format, but I am not sure what exactly those changes are going to be. I will prepare differently going forward. The general format of this class seems difficult to navigate through. The reading material is released on Monday, but tests and practice tests are only open from Friday to Sunday. I would like to be able to compare this to the other FIN 720 instructors class too see if this is a normal format or just what this professor is doing.
I am currently enrolled in FIN 720 with Dr. Kim as the instructor. I bombed the first test and feel like the presentation of information was the cause. He supplied 2 chapters to read, no more explanation than that. The questions were not structured as the reading was, the time limit was absurd, and there was no warning of time remaining. The countdown clock just went to 0:00 without letting me know. Is this normal? Is the other instructor as "hands-off" as Dr. Kim seems to be? Any info will help. As of now, I am going to probably have to drop this class and am concerned is if I take 7 weeks off, I won't want to start again.
