Well, let's just hope it's not the one listed on ratemyprofessor.com from Univ of Mary Washington. Her last comment was "Unnecessary and extreme overcomplication of what should be simple group projects, failing grades even when correctly following the prompt, condescending whenever you ask for clarification of material. Best to be avoided." :banghead:

Looking for advice.....

Spring semester registered for:

AP1 - ACCT 701 (Ambrosio)
ECON 705 (Shaughnessy)

AP2 - FIN 701 (Choi)
MADM 701 (TBA)

I can move one of the classes to Summer AP1 or I can leave it as is and take Summer AP1 off. What would you do?

@LSUnFL - can you or anyone else email me the syllabus from Gibbs' ISDS705 please?

Also, does anyone happen to have a syllabus from McLaughlin's MADM760?

Email address is charheels@aol.com.

Thanks in advance!

I'm just finishing up my first class. Are all the MBA classes based on a 10 point scale without having A-? My undergrad had A and A- with different GPA weights.

I'm in MKT 701 - Darrat also. First class in the program. Hopefully, this class will not be too bad.

Am I missing something? The two topics this week are the PowerPoints?

@sernt18 - I'm taking ISDS 705 and MADM 760 in AP2. I'm also doing a finance concentration.

Would you like to join a Group Me that I opened? I have another student joining us. Maybe this will help with communication since it's all online. This is the link...

And if anyone else wants to join, just hit the link and join! All is welcome!

Let's do this!!

Good luck WDE. If you need a textbook, he has recommended one previously. I can look up the title if you still want it and maybe you can Amazon it. I'll admit I've spent a ton of time struggling through the work until I got it.

I would greatly appreciate the title of the book for ECON 705.

@Staceylyn7574 - did you want to exchange contact info since we're both starting the program and have the same classes?

Email me at charheels@aol.com :thup:

@baroqen

If you end up dropping FIN 701, I might be interested in picking it up. I’m not really sure what I’m doing since this is my first class session.

This is my first session with LSUS and I'm kinda nervous. I have signed up for:

AP1
MKT 701 - A. Darrat

AP2
ISDS 705 - J. Gibbs
MADM 760 - E. McLaughlin

Should I add another class to AP1? I have an option for FIN 720 with either Sung Kim or Chengho Hsieh. Preference...thoughts?

Also, any tips on the classes selected would be welcomed.

I just received my acceptance email for LSUS!

I'm unsure on whether I need/should take foundation courses or go ahead and start the core courses. My undergraduate degree was not in business (health services management). A post from two years ago said taking the foundation courses were a waste of time and money. Of course, I would like to finish the program asap, but do not want to fall flat on my face. Is this what you current students would recommend? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
