Now I guess things are starting Wednesday per the county website. However, I’m not sure. Any lawyers on here familiar with the trial process? I think he’s bought as much time as he can now we will see who has laid out the best case.
Withdrew request to have the court sentence him. It will be decided by a jury.

Huntleys dad doesn’t have money or connections. His moms sister has a lot of money so I assume that’s where most is coming from. He also worked for them prior to this. His lawyers did a good job of minimizing publicity and it’s been almost 4 years. Probably won’t be much on the news about it.
I believe things will actually kick off Monday

Was told he was offered 20 years for manslaughter and turned it down. They met this morning he requested leniency should he be found guilty, a request for community supervision.
