Below is an official letter from the IGFA concerning mutilation and broken bills.



With regard to the polygraphs: the captain and the mate on the leader were both polygraphed for 2 hours each. They were quite literally interrogated on the issues of lacking video and on whether they ran over the fish with the propeller (even though running over a bill would not matter according to the IGFA). Both captain and mate passed “with flying colors” according to the polygraph examiners.

To say we take these decisions lightly and favor one team over another is absolutely ridiculous.

The correct decision was made.
