I'll be up for doing whatever other songs you want to do, but just know, that I haven't worked on a whole lot of songs. And I'm not some wizard on the keys. I'm no Elton John, or Billy Joel.

My playing style is very simplistic, and focuses on just the chords, and melody. And melody like parts.

"Clifford, I think we could make some good music and have some fun if we can get all the equipment and a bass player. Have you written any music yourself?"

No, I haven't written any music myself. But I've got some ideas for some GREAT songs. And yes, these will be raw, and pure. Not some cheesy made for radio stuff.

I've got a lot of personal demons that I'd love to put some swirling synths and maybe some electric guitar, and put some raw vocals behind. And no it's not going to be all sunshine and rainbows.

"How about a slightly upbeat version of Rocket Man? You could add some reverb to your keyboard and really take control of the dynamics and delivery of the song. "

Too complicated for me to play. And not a song I'm really passionate about. Don't get me wrong, I do like Elton John.

Remember, pick from more of the artists in the list.

"We will have to go to guitar center or something to get cables then. I don't have any."

Then why are sitting around for? Go get some. Your the one who said he was interested, and this extra stuff was supposed to be provided by the respondent.

"I have my drums set up in a climate controlled storage building on Bluebonnet, near Perkins Rowe. We would need a mixer and cables."

Do you have a home studio? Because that's what I'm looking for the respondent to provide. This includes all the additional stuff we need such as cables, computer, mixers, amps, etc....

I can ONLY provide the keyboard (with adapter). Also my keyboard is a WK-500 workstation.

Um, if you are interested, we would have to set up at your place. It CANNOT take place at mine.

I'm looking for this guy to be a loving mentor figure as well.

Exploring some Neil Young or any artist I'm not familar with would be something for later. Don't pretend to be interested, and then change your instrument, and genre on me like that.

And again, with that, where are the fellow keyboard, and synth players? The ones who are into a variety of pop and rock from the 80s, 90s, 20000s, and this decade?

Also this should be understood, but I have to spell out everything to people like you, but another side thing with this was to help each other make new discoveries, whether this is discovering an older music, or explorisng stuff in the indie scene, among other things.

I'm confused.

Hi, Clifford here. I'm looking for some keyboard/synth players who'd be interested in becoming close friends, and helping me recreate some of my favorite songs, both dance-pop and ballads, and of course, create some original songs.

This is meant to be a leisure project, so you need to keep your part-time job. This is not for the musicians who are ready to do gigs either. This is for the musicians who are still learning, and who maybe want to hone a skill.

I'm looking for a keyboard player who's a little more advanced than me. Someone who has a computer with some good recording software (both MIDI recording and audio) along with some advanced keyboards I can play on.

Someone who can show me how to use certain sounds and voices to their optimally, and play around with post-production effects as well.
