I agree that paying a franchise quarterback makes it difficult on the roster but how does the rest of the NFL that didn’t make the playoffs shake out with this analysis. You can look at the flip side. At least half the teams in the playoffs have a franchise quarterback. So what are the odds of making the playoffs if you do have a franchise quarterback vs not? Also, what are your chances of winning it all if you have a franchise quarterback vs not?
