She works full time and plans to after the child is born. She pays her portion of the bills every month. I have never had any issues with that. She drives a chevy suv neither of us could afford a ranger rover. ha

So I have been married for a little over a year. I've always worn a wedding ring. I've lost four now and I am tired of buying new ones. I have been wearing the silicon kind and they just started to irritate my finger and plus I lost it. I love my wife and have no desire to stray. She thinks it is weird all of a sudden I don't want to wear one. We just found out she is pregnant with our first child. She thinks the timing is weird that I don't want to wear the ring now. She's been pretty emotional and going nuts because of this ring. I just don't want to keep buying rings and losing them. I feel I am wasting money when we have a child on the way now and we need to be saving everything we can. She thinks the ring symbolizes our marriage. I think that is bullsh*t and it is just a ring. I think she is more insecure with herself and that is why she wants me to wear the ring. I have never given her any reason to think I am straying nor would I. Would love to know what you all have to say. I need outside perspectives from people who don't know either of us.

2 broke because they are silicon
1 fell in a concrete crack at work and I could not get it out
the last one i think i lost it at the house
