Build you a good fire in the backyard, get a GOOD bed of coals going and bury your iron, the heat will cook off all the impurities. Chicken Sauce Picaunte was my first go to, Wife doesn't want the red. Im leaning toward a Pastalaya with a white sauce, not sure how that will turn out in a cast iron pot....

Fans-
Playing the gators this weekend and need something new to cook. Ive got a 20 Gallon Pot and will be cooking for 15-20. Yeah, I can cook Jambalaya with the best of 'em, but need something different for this weekend. I prefer on pot recipes.
Idea's or recipes PLEASE.
