re: How tall is Jeff Grimes?

Haha yes, I've also met him. He actually greets at church Sunday morning. Quite the welcome!
It absolutely is! You're right. Although, I do feel like he speaks with a very high level of familiarity and comfort, which is a bit worrisome.

Kristian Fulton Arky Visit Recap

His comments on the weekend:

“It was great, just hanging out with all the recruits and all the commits. They all tried to get on me, so it was just a great time up here, overall."

“Just establishing when I came in the spring game and just getting back that feeling of coming up here. It’s definitely got me thinking. It’s going to be a tough decision when I make my decision.”

“You’ve got to find an environment where it’s family-like. I don’t think you can find it like that anywhere else, and that’s another thing that’s positive about the school. You’ve got to go somewhere you feel comfortable at. I feel comfortable here. The fans are great, all of the players are great. They treat us great up here.”

“I believe Coach B is doing something special here. This class that we had up here, it’s crazy. I talked to the coaches and I don’t think they’ve ever had that talented of a class here. It’s definitely there, with Sosa being up here, all great players. Not only great players, but great people to be around. It’s definitely something that you can build on."

On playing time: “It’s definitely big. You want to get on the field early and make an early impact. That’s something Coach Jennings told me I can do from the beginning. He’s not guaranteeing me a spot, but he’s definitely said that I can come in -- he sees that they need more depth at the dime package -- so that’s definitely a plus for me.”

On relationship with WR coach Michael Smith: “Most of the players can relate to him. Most of us are from the same area, so it’s easy for us to connect with him. He helps us out a lot up here, helps us get back and forth, coming down and meeting with our parents, that’s great. He’s cool with all of our parents. That’s a big plus that he does.”

On parental/other influence: “It’s definitely going to come down to my decision. I’ve told a lot of people, I’m the one that’s got to be there for the next three-four years. That’s something I’ve talked to my parents about, and wherever I go, hopefully they support my decision.”

Hope KF makes the right decision #Ride4KF :geauxtigers:

JD Moore Update

ACL Sprain. Currently rehabbing but may be awhile.

Wanted for some of you dumb-dumbs to quit guessing, so I just asked him myself.
Guys...he probably has a serious case of the RUNS

re: Brandon Coleman- why a lock?

I think the reality is that we have a NEED for a younger flank receiver. Colston is great, but he only has so much gas left in the tank + we need another end zone deep threat. So while Snead and Cooks would be comparable physically, Coleman is a guy who can push Colston. Seems like his age (and thus potential) is what sets him apart from the Morgans.

Haven't seen it publicly announced, but Les Miles and the coaching staff awarded RS Sophomore starting FB John David Moore with a full scholarship. Congrats big guy!
