If I didn't have a verbal approval from you to my service writer, the truck would have never be torn down!

Like I said I never tear down trucks without approval so u did at some point give someone a approval to tear the truck down and that's why the fight started but it's my word against yours, from what I remember u just didn't realize what 20 hours was and was in shock at the price!

U never gonna be at ease with what happen that day and that's fine but I as u can see I never forgot about it either, don't think I enjoyed acting that way but when someone tells u they aren't paying
It makes things unsettling.so don't leave pissed off tonight just leave knowing I do care about what happen that day and wish things would have played out differently

I have never disassembled a customer truck without a approval because at that point u wouldn't be liable for the tear down but u did at some point aprove this and yes u are the only customer I have ever had this issue with! But I'm not gonna argue with u cause u are a know it all!
Thanks things no doubt got out of hand on this one but it's because rarely do I tear one down that I don't actually fix, that being said we charged a extra 10 hours from what i remember and put the truck back together with all old gaskets and fuel lines which the customer was aware that was a big no no but we did it anyway to make him happy and surprisingly the truck started and ran! From there it was a huge argument of why I was charging the money since I didn't fix it when in turn we put many man hours into it but was advised not to repair it and he was gonna get a cheaper fix else where!

If so this is the truck that came in smoking and had multiple cylinders showing low compression so we got approval for 20 hours tear down, removing cab and heads etc.. Turbos where bad no doubt causing smoke but
Cylinders where washed out no crosshatchs once so ever! So we gave a estimate to rebuild motor customer declined and said he didn't understand why he had to pay 2000 once we tear down our money is guaranteed that's why we get a teardown approval so if u don't wanna fix we still get paid makes since right!

And I assure u get was a mistake and my techs are all ford veterans so I'm unsure what the other guys in the post rants where about but it makes me angry because we take care of our customers and take pride in all our work!

I'll have u know I take pride in my business and if we made a mistake and didn't let u know that u had a Egr delete than that's fine but to say we charged u for something that we didn't do it that sir is slander, the purpose of the inspection is to let u know that the truck is in good working order.next thing is had u came to have the truck bulletproofed we would have never charged u for a Egr delete if u already have one just not how I do business and the estimate given is a job I have done thousands of time so it's a pre made job in our system so if our tech didn't make the service writer aware how would he even know?
