Look up Blues Barn on Facebook.. nice place no trouble.. been going there for over 10 years with never a problem.. just a little out of the way but your best bet from Zwolle.. lots of older folks who own homes or camps in the area

We normally like Wildwood Resort..well kept, really nice cabins/lodges..good launch and on San Miguel next door to the state park, not too far from 1215. (Wildwood-resort.net I think).
They have really large lodges that can sleep lots of people and small lodges as well. Nicest place on the lake unless you're renting someone's personal residence. But it is expensive.

Shady Oaks is nice but the launch is a real bitch..Bridge Bay is OLD..Tranquility Bay (La Nan) right off of La. 1215..has the BEST launch and newer cabins AND motel rooms..this is your second best option to Wildwood as far as nice rooms and reasonable price.

If you're looking for cheap, there are motel rooms across from Toledo Tackle...

I'm hoping for a nice romantic experience..is this the place? Any other recommendations for restaurants near the Omni Royal? Menu suggestions?

Ok..in order to save time for everybody..my chessie is a male, he is not neutered, he is registered, I have not been home to take a photo but will get one asap...he's fine with kids but is not a run around play chase kind of dog..he's more of a lean on you type if you know what I mean..I'm in Mamou if someone wants to come by and take him out, please do so..my wife and I are not always home so please give us some advance notice via email.

This dog (male) lives to retrieve..he's picked up many a duck. But, my health has deteriorated to the point that I can't work him like I should and he deserves. He'll love you to death and he's got that Chessie grin!
I don't want any payment, the only thing that I want is that he gets a home that he can enjoy and a person that he will work his tail off for.
