Ok thanks I will have to check both of them out.
Does anyone do their taxes with a local accounting firm in BR? If you use H&R Block do you get the same same person every year?

I was wondering about Cathy's Tax Professionals, Tax Refund Man, Bennetts Bookkeeping & Tax Service, TaxGeeks, R.L. Smith Consultants, & McFearin Business Services.

So far I am very disappointed in McFearin Business Services, but have liked TaxGeeks & Tax Refund Man. I am waiting to hear back from R.L> SMith Consultants, Cathy's Tax Professionals, & Bennets Bookkeeping & Tax Services.

Does anyone use anyone above and do you normal ask any questions before you choose someone to do your taxes?

Thanks.

I am in the mood to make some soups or bisque this weekend. I am sick of mine recipes and wanted to get a few ideas from y'all. The only think is I can not have any shellfish I am Allergic to it and I am not a seafood fan.

I would like something creamy. Thanks everyone!

Anyone have any personoal thoughts or other recomendatins than Vanguard

ROTH and Vanguard - Should I use them?

Posted by tNk112214 on 11/20/14 at 12:00 pm
I know there is a max amount one can put into a ROTH account but is that a total max for ROTH or for each ROTH account.

What I really am asking is the following:
I have a ROTH 401k plan with my company and I am looking into opening an account with Vanguard possible an IRA ROTH Target Retirement Funds. Is the max I can put into my ROTH accounts a total fo $5500 or is it double (ie each account gets the $5500). I just want to double check or figure out what the best option for me to do.

I also would like any additional/personal thoughts with opening an account with Vanguard IRA ROTH Target Retirement Funds.

Thanks for everyones help and advice.

help choosing some pots and pans

Posted by tNk112214 on 11/13/14 at 7:43 am
I am in need of new pots and pans. I was wondering if any of you could give me some advice or tell me your favorite brand for pots and pans?

Also what you would recommend buying (i.e. sauce pan (medium/small) nonstick or stainless or both; wok nonstick?, saute pan.... and so on)

I need both stainless & nonstick or hard-anodized materials if it is better thand stainless.

I want to be able to have to option to put the pans in the oven max would be 400. I would like a flat surface (no ridges). Would like to use the dishwasher most of the time and not handwash and dry. The handles I would love an easy grip, stays cool on the stove, love the silicone handles, but I know that might not be the best for the oven.

TIA and for the information.
I live with SO and we are averaging about $500 a month. Even single I was averaging about that much and using what I cooked (leftover) and the freezer. I have learn to prep the food for the week helps and freeze at least 5 different meals (or have mostly ready in the freezer) for those nights that want to just pick up something due to the time. The crock pot (slow cooker) is a saver too.

I would look into the The American Sector for lunch or dinner.

The Beyond All Boundaries is about 1 hr, and it is a 4D film. (I am not always a fan of those.)

Just depends on yours and yours SO interest.

I figured out checked out this LINK already but just in case.

If you SO is really not wanting to do that then let them do their own thing. I would just split my day that way after spending that time and money there.

Enjoy

Back yard - upgrade

Posted by tNk112214 on 11/4/14 at 8:39 am
I am just wanting to get some advice and ideas on what to do in my back yard. I am brand new home owner (within the last year). I have a back yard that backs up into greenspace, that drops off and down at the bottom has a river. I was wanting to add a few trees maybe around 4, but would love to have a hammock between two of them at some point and maybe some bushes. I was thinking rose bushes, nothing that takes too much time or work. Pics will follow later. Thanks for the help.
