I actually left UNO to go to LSU. I was a communications major at UNO, until they screwed us over and turned it into film. I was miserable, but that was only because I didn't apply to the school to learn film, but you will actually go there for film. It's a boring school, but everyone in the film department has personality, so you will always have people to do things with. You'll never be bored because you'll always have some type of film project going on. UNO film people aren't like the people at LSU so be prepared; LSU people are kinda stuck up and UNO film people are hippish. I loved LSU and hated UNO, but ymmv.
I think it was pretty bad for him, imo. I watched a program on him a good while back, and on it he said he wanted to go to the mall. He spent an hour with makeup people to form the prefect disguise. He could never go see a movie like a normal person, or go to the store. I have seen a good bit of celebrities in NOLA, and they walk around like everyday people. I think if Jackson would try that, it'd be a riot.

True, he did want fame, every celebrity who gets in the business wants that. But I could say that he just wanted to make music and didn't really care about the fame, when he was put in the business as a small child. He did have a talent for songwriting and entertaining the masses, but his the level of craziness people had for him was unreal.
Jackson, then Jordan in a far second. Jordan never had the level of fame Jackson did. Also, Michael could never have a normal life due to his popularity. Jordan never had to go out in costume in fear a group of people would rip his body to shreds. I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan and was hit hard when he died.
