Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M coaching staff received some great news on Saturday when four-star cornerback Jeffery Carter announced his commitment to the Aggies.
The Mansfield, Texas native chose Texas A&M over Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, and others. Carter is rated the No. 11 overall cornerback prospect for the class of 2019, according to 247 Sports.
The Aggies now have 22 verbal commitments for the class of 2019 with the addition of Carter.
