Gamecocks Add Nation’s Top JUCO Weakside DE
by Staff Reporter

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports
South Carolina got a big commitment today from the nation's top JUCO player, Darrius Caldwell. Caldwell was once a 4 star recruit from Atlanta, GA, but spent time at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, MS before committing to South Carolina on Thursday.
Caldwell is a 6-foot-6, 240-pound weakside defensive end, and is rated the No. 1 player in the nation for junior colleges.
This should make Spurrier happy.
