The CBS Sports Staff released their 2026 College Football Hot Seat Rankings for all 138 FBS coaches.

All coaches could be ranked into six categories:

-Win or be fired
-Start improving now
-Pressure is mounting
-All good ... for now
-Safe and secure
-Untouchable

Here's how the SEC Coaches were ranked heading into 2026:

Mike Elko (Texas A&M)
Clark Lea (Vanderbilt)

Safe and secure:
Ryan Silverfield (Arkansas)
Lane Kiffin (LSU)
Eli Drinkwitz (Missouri)
Brent Venables (Oklahoma)
Pete Golding (Ole Miss)

All good ... for now:
Josh Heupel (Tennessee)
Steve Sarkisian (Texas)
