SEC Sets New Sweet 16 Record For Most Teams From A Single Conference

SEC Basketball is sending seven teams to the Sweet 16, breaking the record previously held by the ACC, which sent six teams in 2016.
The SEC began the Tournament with a recording smashing 14 teams. The previous record was held by Big East, which had 11 teams in 2011.
Here are the SEC Sweet 16 matchups coming up on Thursday and Friday:
Thursday, March 27:
No. 1 Florida vs. No. 4 Maryland
No. 2 Alabama vs. No. 6 BYU
No. 10 Arkansas vs. No. 3 Texas Tech
Friday, March 28:
No. 1 Auburn vs. No. 5 Michigan
No. 2 Tennessee vs. No. 3 Kentucky
No. 6 Ole Miss vs. No. 2 Michigan State
