Spending a few days in DC with the fam then we are driving over to Williamsburg but have no idea where to stay. Kids are 11 and 14 and we are looking for something in the middle of things. Don’t really have a budget just something for 2 nights that’s comfortable

Any reviews on this place?

Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg would be my recommendation. It can be expensive though.

Went there recently for a night and stayed at Hampton Inn Williamsburg Central. It was alright. Ate at Le Yaca, a French restaurant. It was great. Did not have time to see William & Mary but wanted to. I'm sure there's some historic stuff to see as well.

Just moved from there last year, lived there for 4 years. Those hotels would be fine in your link but you will pay more since they are associated with colonial Williamsburg. Really can’t pick a wrong place, everything is within 15 minutes. There is a relatively new Hampton inn and suites that is nice near colonial Williamsburg (Hampton Inn & Suites Williamsburg-Central

718 Bypass Road, Williamsburg, Virginia, 23185, USA).

Most of the chain hotels in Richmond road or bypass road are really nice. It would be hard for you to find a dump because the city is so nice and clean.

Ask me any questions I can answer

Ended up booking at the Griffin. Suppose to be flying to DC this Friday but now this damn Hurricane is breathing down my neck.

I have stayed there. It wasn't bad at all. Definitely not fancy but a good, decent, average hotel. It's close to everything and you can catch a bus from right by the hotel to the colonial part. They have a few games and stuff your kids can play, putt-putt, ping pong, corn hole. They do have a cool little patio with a fire pit too. Huzzahs is on site but I didn't think it was great. They did have cold beer so it was nice to have one after touring.

ETA- I stayed at the hotel you linked.
