Turks & Caicos review (UPDATED WITH PHOTOS)

Just got back from a week long vacation in T & C. What an amazing place. Beautiful beaches, perfect weather, friendly people, safe environment, tasty food. We decided as a family that it's definitely a place we would like to frequent.
Things to do:
Caicos Dream Boat Tours - 1/2 day private charter. What a treat with Kwee and JJ as our captains. They took us all around Providenciales and up to Pine Cay. Went conch diving and had fresh conch salad with the ones we caught. Beer and rum punch included. Our boat had a diving board and slide, which we all enjoyed, especially the kids. Saw some stingrays and a bunch of starfish.
Turk's Head Brewery - Tap room is pretty small, but it was nice to get away and try a few local brews. They had eight on tap when we went. Bunch of merchandise available for purchase. They also do growler fills.
Thursday Night Fish Fry - Everyone we talked to suggested that we go to the fish fry. So we did. We had a good time, but it was crazy packed. There are a bunch of restaurants/food trucks there serving all kinds of food. Many vendors selling merchandise as well. Might have enjoyed it a little more if we weren't all super exhausted from boat day.
Provo Golf Course - They have a special going on right now since they are renovating the back nine. $140 gets you green fee, cart, clubs, sleeve of Titlest balls and a $20 voucher to the restaurant. Only catch is you have to play the front nine twice. Damn good deal, in my opinion. The front nine was just renovated last year, so it is in very good shape.
Places to Eat:
Jack's Fountain - This is a new restaurant that just opened the last week of June. On Grace Bay near Coco Bistro. One of the better meals of the trip. Service was top notch, and I really liked the setting. Would highly recommend checking it out and supporting the new business on the island.
Da Conch Shack (on Wednesday) - Everyone agreed that this was our favorite meal of the trip, not necessarily because of the food, but because of the atmosphere. Eating dinner on the beach while listening to live music from The Island Boys. I'd be sure to make reservations, because it was packed. Curried conch plate was awesome.
Kalooki's - Had a very nice dinner here. It's kind of hidden in a shopping center on the Grace Bay Strip. Their old location was destroyed by Irma, so this is a relatively new location for them. Get the stuffed salmon and conch fritters if you go.
Pelican Bay Restaurant and Bar - Really wasn't expecting much here since it was a resort restaurant, but it was damn good! So good that we ate here twice for lunch. I would suggest the salmon poke bowl, fish tacos, quesadillas, fried rice platter. The menu really has a little bit of everything.
We also ate at Danny Buoy's on a whim, but it was nothing special. Would be a great place to watch a game, though. Typical sports bar atmosphere right on the Grace Bay strip.
If you are looking for public beach access + chair/umbrella rental, turn into the Royal West Indies. We were able to rent for $10 per day, plus it gives you access to Pelican Bay Restaurant. From what I could tell, most of the chairs on Grace Bay are reserved for resort guests.

I found that T&C is nice and safe.
Worth the premium for a time constrained traveler as it’s so close to Miami.
Thanks for the review, glad you all had a great time.
