We're thinking of taking an international trip for a couple weeks in September/October. Would prefer Asia or Europe. Both of us are in our late 20s with interest in architecture, taking in beautiful views (personally love skylines), good beer/cocktails, trying new food (no allergies), etc.

Personally, I've always wanted to visit Hong Kong and Tokyo. However, part of me is into the idea of a Eurotrip, including a couple days in Munich for Oktoberfest. My girlfriend is half-Malaysian and has been to SE Asia a few times, so she's pushing for Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, etc.

Would like to hear experiences from others with similar interests.

Thanks in advance.

Since you are young, go to Peru. See Macchu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, etc.

This is something you need to do while you can still climb and see the great views.

Then go to Mancora to relax after climbing for a week.

Great varieties of food, from llama up in Cusco, to the great ceviche, or seafood.
