Wife and I are headed to Sardinia at the end of June after a few days in Sicily.
Looking for recs on places to stay, places to eat, places to beach, activities... anything you want to tell me.
Should I rent a car?
Anyone taken to the ferry from Palermo to Cagliari?

I lived there 2005-2007 on LaMaddelena (small island on the northern part of Sardinia. I'm sure that area has changed a lot since then bc the US Navy left the area. If you make it to LaMadd check out Robi's pizza (if he's still there). He made great pizzas.
