Staying in Lisbon without a rental car. Wondering if it’s possible to do Sintra and Belem in one day using public transportation/Uber. We will only have two days total staying in Lisbon so we wanted to use the other day to explore the city. Thanks in advance for any insight

Context Travel

We have used Context in several cities and all tours have been great. No more than 6 in the group. Guides are usually expat American grad students/professors who know their stuff.

Sintra takes a full day. I go back I would stay two days. Easy to get there via train from downtown Lisbon.

Belem is easy to get there via bus/Uber.

However doing both in one day is a stretch.

Easy to take a train from main terminal in Lisbon to Sintra.

Prepare to walk a LOT in Sintra.

Amazing time.

Just got back from Lisbon and really loved it. We allowed a full day for Sintra, easy train ride,as mentioned. Belem is in town, quick uber. Food was great , wine was better than expected and very inexpensive. Only thing I didn’t like about Portugal was ....port. Went to 3 tastings, all high-end, and every drop tasted like cough syrup
