Ok I need some SAN DIEGO help

I'm going to be in San Diego for two days next month and I want recommendations on best places to stay. I can research all day but I'd rather have it from people on here that have been there. I don't mind spending money on a nice place but I need to know best parts of town etc....Thanks in advance

Never been to SD but I would edit the title to include where you are going. You will get great suggestions from TD peeps

If the money is not a problem stay near Petco Park. Some nice lodging, dining and socializing in the area. Gaslamp Quarter!
