Travel board

I went 15 years ago. Place is massive. Pool was awesome. Beach there not so much. Had tons of seaweed on the beach they had to try and remove every morning. Beach/water not as pretty as nearby areas(ex...Playa del Carmen has gorgeous beaches).

Golf is way over priced, request the good liquor when ordering drinks, if you want the beach go to the beach palace the resort will put you on their shuttle and it's all inclusive there too.

Like the other person mentioned...you can take free shuttles to all the Palace Resorts. You can eat/drink for free at those resorts as well.

If you want to take the ferry to Cozumel one day....see if they offer a free shuttle to Playacar Palace. That is a Palace Resort in Playa del Carmen. You can literally see the ferry from the beach of that resort. Very short walk from the resort to the ferry.

When you get to Cozumel...you can hit up the Palace Resort there for meals(it is also a short walk from where the ferry is).

Heading to that area in 2 weeks. Watching beach cams like a hawk and the beaches are free of seaweed and water looks beautiful. Have fun and report back.

Everything there is pretty great. Yes the beach is terrible but just take the free shuttle to their sister resorts where the beach and water is pristine.
