We are planning to fly into Ft. Lauderdale around April or May. It'll just be two guys in our mid-late 20s. Neither of us have ever been. My friend is recently single and looking to get out the house. Any advice on the area to stay in and places to go would be appreciated.

April and May are both good times to go. Ocean dr, south beach area is where you want to be. there are tons of bars on ocean dr, and the other side of the street is south beach, which is filled with beautiful women

If you want a good Cuban meal get in an Uber and head to Sazon. Lechon Asado FTW. The ropa vieja is also great and they have excellent mojitos.

April or May is the best time to go since kids are still in school. Stay around Miami Beach or South Beach. Ocean Drive is the place to go for nightlife.. and don't worry the women there are beautiful

We started looking at the Brickell area. It looks like a nice neighborhood and we can get a much nicer place for cheaper than South Beach. Is anyone familiar with this part of town? Worth considering or should we stick to south beach?
