Margaritaville Resort - Orlando | Review

While it's still fresh in my head.
King Suite.
Cons-
They have the semi-doors where you can't really take a shite in privacy. Sliding and slotted. Very decorative and very non-ultilitarian.
Only one on-site restaurant which is mediocre but has daily entertainment in the lounge if you want to hear 90's covers.
The official hours of the pool and restaurant lounge are "as long as people are here and buying booze, we'll stay open". Ignore whatever it says on the website. Unless there's thunder, then the tiki bars and pools shut down, understandably. Know this before you book a $150 cabana.
Pros-
It's right in the mix of all the Disney parks and your can use their shuttle or just Uber like we did. Subtle brag.
Every staff member from janitor to concierge were extremely friendly and helpful and just seemed happy to be there.
The water park is not owned by Margaritaville, but there's an arrangement so for every day you stay at the resort you get a free day at the neighboring water park next door. It's a pretty badass water park. We did a day of Disney and a day at the water park, my 10yo said the water park was by far the best day of the trip.
I wasn't the fattest frick at the pool. I was below average. That's always nice.
