I came back to the Philippines to visit Mindanao to see the Pink Mosque. They have an oil spill blocked the ferry. It's on my list of must see places

2nd pick is the Whale Sharks in Oslob. Has anyone been to Cebu recently?
If so is it's better to stay in Cebu city and get a tour. Or stay in Obslob ?

Yes and going back in May. We love Cebu but really depends on what you want to do. Oslob is really really down there but getting there from Cebu City can take quite a long time.
We like Lapu Lapu, the North end of the island lear the Magellan shrine.
Don't know much about the Pink Mosque so no input there but I would imagine they have whale shark tours in more places than just Oslob. Look into Canyoneering at Kawassan Falls, easily one of the best days of my life.
