I know about Versailles, but does anyone have any recommendations for an eatery in Little Havana? Spending a week in SoBe next month and def want to venture over there.

I don’t have any dinner suggestions, but for a quick snack or very casual meal, try El Rey de las Fritas, a Cuban hamburger stand with fruit shakes and juices. The frita is a seasoned beef patty topped with matchstick fried potatoes on a bun. The one on Calle Ocho has a slightly retro diner vibe. LINK /

Period. Great Cuban diner. Ropa Vieja, Lechon Asado, you name it. Huge portions, great food, killer mojitos and Cuba libres.

I've had that one from there with an egg. Well, I've had several. I found about this a year ago. It's a cool place but I can't believe I had never heard of a frita until recently.
