re: Hotel chains with decent breakfasts

If you’re looking for a major chain with properties in most cities/towns, I’d check out a Marriott Residence Inn. I’m working in Calgary every week this year up through September and stay at the new downtown MRI. Their breakfast is fantastic and always hot.

I'm in a different hotel 3-4 nights a week, every week all around the country. Most consistently good is Courtyard, but it's not included in your typical room rate. Decent breakfast will run $6-12 depending on location and item ordered. I'm also not too offended by what Residence Inn typically offers, not up to Courtyard standards, but it's included in the room rate.

Yup, just got back home from H-town for the week. Shitty low-flow shower head was abysmal on the fourth floor. I hooked mine up, and it was much better. I just got a plastic Speakman on Amazon, and pulled the restrictor out of it. Takes all of 30 seconds to swap a shower head. It's a pro tip for you guys that regularly stay in a hotel for longer than a few days.
I also bring or buy my own TP. That's another pro tip. Your butt will thank you the day after you go out to eat curry with your Indian clients
