Quick getaway with the Mrs. (no pics) this weekend. Overall, the resort was nice and seemed VERY kid-friendly. It was fairly empty given the time of the year, which was nice for us since we were sans kiddos.
The resort itsef had the usual central Texas rustic look and was very well mantained for not being all that new of a resort.
View from our balcony (regular single king room)
The "long bar" inside the resort, here is 1 of the boards listing their beers. They have dozens of local beers on tap.
Lazy river....
The spa was pretty solid, but not that cheap as expected. We kept it simple with a couples 1 hour massage.
They have a TON of activities for adults, kids, families....etc.
We ate at FEAST in downtown, it is like a tapas-style restaurant which was awesome. Would highly recommend.
Shishito Peppers sauteed with chorizo and feta cheese....more pics to come later from my wife's phone.

What is the name of the resort? It seems like it's kind of a cold place to visit with no skiing at this time of the year. I probably would be interested in the spring or fall.

It says it in the title.
I agree, I want to visit in the warmer months

Pictures are awesome. Hyatt Hill Country is the definition of family friendly. Always loved the lazy river growing up, and specifically remember the smores at night. Plenty of activities to do (horseback riding, for instance) but might not be worth the price, idk.

We were just there for a quick 1 night getaway, sans kiddos, so we didn't get to enjoy everything the resort offered. But as mentioned above, we plan on coming back in the springtime for a long weekend.
