Nah, the wife and kids are leaving town, and I leave on the 8th for a Montreal bachelor party. I need to conserve "energy"...and money.
Those houses on the West end are an absolute steal right now. It seems they never reached the demand they expected pre-Ike, so deal shopping on rentals and timeshares is easy to do.
I think the wife got us Schlitterbahn season passes last week, so we'll probably be down there a good bit this summer.

Nice. Will have some free time it sounds. Don't blame you, Montreal is pretty damn expensive for anything.
I dunno about that. Right after Ike hit, old man river picked up one for 80k (also on West End) from a couple who didn't want the hassle of fixing theirs back up. He dropped 60k or so back into it to fix the foundation, etc and dumped it last year for get this......$450k. Maybe the market over there has collapsed (wouldn't doubt it).
Have you tried the waterpark out in Katy yet? Tornado Texas or whatever it's called.

BLVD is an awesome bistro. Sit at the bar where the food is served up on the line, and the chef will chat with you when he can.
Food was awesome.
