Going to a wedding here later this summer. Will be one of the few single people. Saw a couple threads mentioning the family section, but not the adult only. Its all-inclusive, so it certainly wont be a bad time, just curious what to expect. (i.e. Food quality, crowd, etc.)

El dorado is a big place. Very nice grounds and typical food and drink selections for all inclusives. Beach is ok but like several other resorts along this section they have these massive concrete sand bag looking things out in the water to help with beach erosion. It makes it difficult to really swim in the ocean if that is your thing.

I believe it is adults only but they have a new resort called generations on the far side that is family oriented. You can walk to it in the path but you won't see children unless you go way down to that end. you will have a great time, a bunch of different pools and bats to choose from.
