I enjoyed The Henery Ford - Museum when me and the wife went a few years ago.

The Henry Ford Museum is awesome. Better than any similar museum in DC. It houses Thomas Edison and Henry Ford's private collections. On display is the chair Lincoln was assassinated in and the car JFK was assassinated in, tons of old vehicles and machines.

Check out a Tigers game if they're playing. The whole city comes alive. It's a nice park. The area around it is mostly sports bars for hockey, football and baseball games.They had shut down the main street downtown for a revitization project when I was there. It should be really nice. Greek Town is the party area. I loved my visit a few summers ago.
