Staying in Cancun for spring break with the family for all inclusive resort. Any suggestions for excursions. We will be there for about a week. Probably want to do a couple excursions.

What gumbeauxguy said. Isla is far superior to Cancun in every respect including safety and price.

When we went for honeymoon we went to Chichen Itza. Went on a large tour bus, we stopped at a cenote for a swim, and a small town for lunch. If I did it again, I would have just rented a car, I really didn't enjoy the pace of the whole tour bus and the stops. the stops were nice though.

We did a day trip to Isla Mujeres and enjoyed it. We also did a bus trip to Xcaret and loved it.

Check out the coba ruins near Tulum. I got there right when they opened, rented a bike, and hauled arse to the big structure that you can climb to the top of. I got there before all the other honkies and was able to chill by myself and reflect on how awesome it was for about 20 minutes before the others showed up. It was really neat and well worth it.

Not many places you can climb to the top of like that and I am sure at some point they will shut it down.

The Mrs. and I used these guys and could not have had a better time. This was a private tour, just myself, the wife, the tour guide, and the driver. We were able to go at our own pace and were never rushed. It was five star all the way. We went to Tulum, 2-3 cenotes, lunch, and then 3 more cenotes. It was a blast! The only knock was we had to get up early, but we were the first people into Tulum which was a huge plus. They can also design a trip for you if you want something special.

Have a trip planned and that exact excursion booked, Was pickup from the hotel easy /not sketchy? Apparently I have to confirm that with them beforehand and pay the extra fees directly.
How long did yall get back after lunch?
Also the description made it sound like breakfast on the bus and drinks were included. If it's open bar on there I wouldn't imagine I'd mind the bus ride.

Reading reviews and it sounds like you spend all day traveling just to be at the site for 2 hours. Not sure I want to hang on to that or not.
