Everything I’ve heard from people with kids that went there is that they loved it.

grace bay is the postcard beach. the beach everyone puts in their instagram..
but go a bit north...
leeward beach (northeast end of island) is the single prettiest beach ive ever seen anywhere in my entire life.
if you got the pockets... try renting a house right there in that neighborhood.
leeard to north end of grace bay would be my choose if you have kids that want to play in the water.
long bay beach is excellent if the kids kitesurf (otherwise stay away)
winds will be onshore...and can frequently gust over 30 knots.

I've been looking for around for a trip in the Caribbean as well. I'm pretty sure when I checked out that Beaches, there was a note that is closing next year. It may be perfectly fine, but that was a red flag to me to look elsewhere
