That’s an aggressive itinerary from a logistics standpoint.
Bronx Zoo is an all day thing especially if you are taking a bus/train. It’s a nice place and worth taking your time.
Statue of Liberty: either do the Staten Island ferry method, get pedestal/crown tickets (requires advanced purchase I believe), or get a private boat like NY Media Tours to get a close view. Do that while you are downtown on the same day as 9/11.
Highly recommend a tour guide for the 9/11 Museum. There is a lot of subtle things that have a lot of meaning that you would otherwise miss.
I prefer Empire State observation deck vs One World Trade Center. The trade center is enclosed while the Empire State is outside (loud and windy in a good way). The trade center view is the same as coming into LGA over the Hudson.

We should have stickies for the major cities. Kind of like Trip Advisor's forum section. That would be a lot more organized than a new thread on the same city every few days.
