Xtrainerz headphones - downloading / transferring music

Wifey got me some cool Xtrainerz headphones.
However, I am having trouble getting music added. Tried moving it straight from my iTunes library. But the headphones keep saying there is nothing on there when I turn them on.
Anyone else have this trouble? Is Apple Music not comparable with these? Where do I have to download / transfer music from?
