Family members asking what I want for Christmas, so I figured I’d finally get some wireless headphones. Found a few I like, but I figured I’d see if you all had any suggestions.

They can be over the ear or earbuds, not real picky. My only real preference is I’d like to be able to control from the headphones (skip track, volume, answer calls), but even that isn’t make or break. Trying to keep it under around $100 - $125 as I will likely lose them.

Any help is appreciated!

If you have Apple products i couldnt recommend AirPods enough.

Dont get me wrong if you are looking for just straight sound quality then that wouldnt be the best option. But for me Airpods are the greatest piece of tech i own. I would go and buy a new one today if my current ones broke or got lost.

First off, let me say that I know these are outside of the price range. That being said, I’ve owned Bose headphones for a long time. Over the ear, noice canceling, bluetooth, ear buds, wired, wireless, you name it. I’ve loved my Bose headphones. I’ve always disliked the Apple ear buds because I didn’t like how they fit in my ear and I wasn’t exactly impressed with the quality.

That all changed when I bought the AirPods pro. I really like these things and the noise canceling is pretty spectacular for such a light, small bud. They’re pricey at $250, but they’re worth it to me.

I'm currently experimenting with a pair of Samsung galaxy buds. Audio quality and the comfort of the earbuds is good. However, the bluetooth connectivity is spotty and the mic quality is poor. If the mic quality was better, I'd be pretty sold on the wireless earbuds.

At work, I use a pair of wireless headphones and I greatly enjoy them, but I get a lot of ear fatigue from wearing them all day. Also, being in the south, they can be uncomfortable if you get warm. The mic quality is good, and they offer noise canceling.

I'd recommend earbuds if you are going to be wearing them for a long period of time, but really research the mic quality that is offered. If I owned an iphone, I'd strongly consider airpods pro. I've read a lot of good reviews about the product. The apple tax is ridiculous though.
