And personally, I wouldn't recommend running 4 displays on an that HP. While it is a good computer in terms of price and performance, pushing it to handle 4 displays may put a a largg amount of stress on the system. maybe look into Adding additional fan gadget under it with one of thoses stands that you can by for it. Applying extra thermal paste would be a good idea also.
I have no doubt i can fix that background issue for you if I were there. I may try to setup 4 on my hp tonight to create a step by step for you.

quote:Does not work. When you click Browse Photos on the "Personalization > Background" dialogue, it does take you to something similar to a File Explorer window, but it is NOT File Explorer. It does NOT allow you to select multiple files by holding the CONTROL key. It only allows you to select one image/file at a time. When you move to the second image, it deselects the first one.
Click to add new pic but when you go to the file folder use hold down control ctrl while clicking the images and in the order you want them in.
In the file browser window that appears, navigate to the folder where you stored the four images. This will allow you to select multiple files simultaneously.
After selecting all four images, click the Choose picture button to add them as your background images.
In the process of trying this, I DID see that each time you click/select an image from the Explorer-like window, the app adds that image to the list of 5-most-recent when it converts every monitor's wallpaper to that image. So, you CAN go thru and select the four that you want to get them all into the 5-mri list, and then assign them each to a monitor by right-clicking them in the 5-mri list.
