What would cause Airplay to suddenly stop

I routinely send TuneIn audio from my iPhone to my Yamaha receiver. All of a sudden, when I tap on the ‘cast’ icon on my phone, no Airplay options show. This is the case with all apps, Pandora, Spotify, etc. Also missing is the ability to transfer videos, audio straight to my Roku. My phone still talks to the receiver fine; I can use the music cast app, control the receiver with my phone, etc.
Oddly this seems to have coincided with a change to my Apple password, starting a free Apple TV subscription.
Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm not sure how the phone and receiver talk to each other. Did you have to put your account info in to the receiver app (if there is one). Might need to update that side as well...
Change the password back to the old one and see if that fixes it. If so - it's definitely an account sync thing.

Casting YouTube to my Roku has also been impacted.
Luckily, I think I’ve found the culprit — the Apple TV app on my phone, oddly. I had changed my password as part of signing in to that app (for the first time ever). I opened the app, signed out, and now everything is back to normal.

If you’ve recently updated your phone to a new iOS version, you might need to update your firmware on the receiver and any other airplay devices

That’s been done. Apple TV doesn’t play nice with others, it seems.
