What is draining my phone battery?

Left the house at 9 AM with a full charge. Didn't use my phone at all, now it's at 83%.

is it hot?
go to 'settings/battery' 'more info' and see whats consuming it.
do it now before other apps you're using get in there and cloud the problem.
generally a reboot will fix a hung up app, but sometimes an app update goes wrong and fricks your phone until you uninstall it.

Yes and yes.
ETA: The two biggest users were the OS and Google Services.

go to play store and see if any apps are wanting to be updated there. sometimes that will cause the problem. sometimes the play services app itself wants to be updated.
what version of android are you running?

5.0 I'm on straight talk, so I have to upgrade manually and haven't got around to it yet.
