Do not know much about vpns, but just listen to a podcast advertisement for express vpn. Does anyone use this? The part about using it to access international netflix got me interested.

I think they are Ft Lauderdale based, but who knows since they do not share anything about themselves on their web site. If a company will not share with you who they are, why would you trust them with YOUR data? Same goes for NORDvpn. AVOID both.
I believe more and more software security companies will join Norton (US) by including in a package. Their VPN that is built in is very basic with no control. That will work for many.
McAfee (US) bought TunnelBear (Canada), which is a very good simple VPN for newbies. It is still sold separately.
You could also look at ProtonVPN (Swiss) or VyprVPN by Golden Frog (Swiss/US).
If PIA (Private Internet Access), would be more open about who they are, I would add it to the list. But for now - no.
... as far as them working with Netflix International, you'd need to do your homework, but I would avoid ExpressVpn.
