VPN help/advice for Apple TV

Gifted an MLB TV subscription to my old man because he doesn't get Stros games, but he is still blacked out because DirecTV and Uverse carry it and have exclusivity in the area (and he subscribes to Cox).
Looking for any help on setting up a VPN y'all can provide. I've googled around and seems like there are a few services (albeit pricier than I would have thought). Anyone have any recommendations on a service that is cheap and easy for an old man to use?

Idk about appletv integration, but Private Internet Access has been a great service for me. Comes with 5 concurrent connections i think; so you could use it and also provide an installation/login for your dad...worth checking into

It's a pain in the arse. You can't run a VPN client on the Apple TV, so you have to set up a VPN router and run the Apple tvs internet connection through it.
