Very Simple Google Sheets Question?

I've been doing a bunch of formulas with nested IF statements in them. When I type them out in the input line, they all stretch out horizontally, which is fine, but makes it hard to follow the logic. Snooping around on the web, I've seen a bunch of them written vertically which would make trying to debug them WAY easier.

Anybody know how to write them that way?

ETA: Figured out my question on my own. Simply hit Ctrl-Enter and the formula will drop down a line.
