Harvesting of data from vehicles has been going on for a while frick that. I turned off many abilities, and auto updates, which means I can't start my truck from my phone, etc.
But what I can't figure out is how to apply an update without turning that shite back on. Any tips on applying updates via USB without permitting access to essentially all vehicular data?

Everyone feels differently about various things but I struggle to understand the cost/benefit analysis of this. Exactly what information about you have you prevented Ford from acquiring that is worth losing useful functionality for?

Or what data hasn’t been harvested from other devices, specially the phone you can’t start your truck from?
